On 26 January 2007, upon the approval by the China Securities Regulatory Commission, the Company was established by China Galaxy Financial Holdings Company Limited, and Central Huijin Investment Ltd. is the de facto controller of the Company

Establishment of the Company

On 26 January 2007, upon the approval by the China Securities Regulatory Commission, China Galaxy Financial Holdings Company Limited, as the main promotor, established China Galaxy Securities Co., Ltd., and acquired relevant businesses and assets from the former China Galaxy Securities Limited Liability Company (established in August 2000 as a wholly state-owned securities company). The headquarter of the Company is located in Beijing and the registered capital of the Company amounted RMB10.934 billion.

China Galaxy Financial Holdings Company Limited is the controlling shareholder while Central Huijin Investment Ltd. acts as the de facto controller of the Company.
